04 · How it plays out

Three honest walkthroughs.

Not case studies: there are no clients in them. Three ways the preview typically goes, so you know what to expect.

If you run a local trade

The two-page test drive

Starter tier

  1. 01You send the enquiry on a Tuesday: business name, what you do, the area you cover.
  2. 02By the weekend there is a working preview: your services, your patch, a click-to-call that works.
  3. 03You show it to two customers. They find the number faster than on the old Facebook page.
  4. 04You approve it. It is live within days, and the code is yours.

If you are launching a shop

The catalogue, proven first

Growth tier

  1. 01You need variants, baskets and payments, the things template builders make painful.
  2. 02The preview arrives with your real products in it, checkout flow clickable end to end.
  3. 03You test it on your phone, your partner's phone, and the tablet at the counter.
  4. 04Only when the flow convinces you does the build begin, and the bill with it.

If you need a platform

The scoped rehearsal

Enterprise tier

  1. 01Complex builds start with discovery, not a template. Requirements, architecture, stages.
  2. 02The preview demonstrates the key journeys: the portal login, the dashboard, the workflow.
  3. 03Your team pokes at it and writes the awkward questions. We answer them in the proposal.
  4. 04You commit to a staged plan where each stage ships something you can use.
05 · Questions

Asked beforeyou ask.

Free previews

01What exactly is included in a free preview?A working, custom-coded preview of your site. For Starter and Business tiers we build the homepage and up to two further pages, responsive, with your branding and a contact form, at no cost.
02Is the free preview really free?Yes. No card details, no obligation. If you do not like it, you walk away.
03Why offer it?When you can see exactly what you are getting, the decision makes itself. It also shows you how we work before you commit.
04How long does it take?Free previews are delivered within one week.

Paid previews

01Why do larger sites take a deposit?A Growth or Enterprise preview is a substantial piece of development. The deposit covers that time and is credited in full to the build.
02Is the deposit refundable? No: it pays for completed development work. If you go ahead, every penny of it comes off the final invoice.
03How fast are they?Growth previews in 3–5 days; Enterprise previews are scoped with you and follow a staged plan.

Preview versus final site

01Is the preview the same as the final site?It is the real thing, unfinished. After approval we apply your feedback, add the remaining content, test everything and deploy to your hosting.
02Can I make changes after seeing it?Yes. Free previews include one round of minor revisions, paid previews two. Changes beyond the original scope are quoted.
03Who owns the preview code?Until purchase, we do. On purchase you receive full ownership of the code, designs and assets, with no ongoing fees or licences.
04What if I use another company after seeing it?For a free preview, nothing: no obligation. For a paid preview the deposit is not refunded, and the preview code and designs stay ours.

Timeline and revisions

01What counts as a revision?Colour and font adjustments, minor layout tweaks, text corrections and image swaps. New features or structural changes are scope changes, quoted separately.
02What if I miss the feedback deadline? We hold the preview for 14 days, then get in touch. After 30 days without a reply the project is archived, and can be reactivated.
03How long is the link live?30 days. Ask and we will extend it.
04Can I share it?Please do. Partners, staff, customers: the more eyes the better.

After approval

01What happens next?We finish the site with your feedback, add remaining content, test it, set up hosting and hand over with training materials. Finalisation typically takes one to two weeks.
02Is there support after launch?Every build includes a post-launch support period, and the Hosting + edits plan carries on from there at £40 a month.
